My Client-First Philosophy


Having earned my  B.A., 1976  in Art History, I spent several years working with art and antique dealers, honing my design skills.  In 1979,  as director of an art transportation company, my marketing, organizational, managerial and people-skills took precedence.   This blended background has enabled me to develop an approach to marketing residences that includes an in depth evaluation of each property I represent.  The sale of real estate was a natural next-step for me in 1984, combining design,  marketing and negotiation.  I bring to each property's sale my knowledge and experience.

 

When you select me to represent you in the sale of  your property,  a staging plan will be devised to maximize the appeal of the property to prospective purchasers.

 

Every home I sell has been fully prepared for marketing before the door opens for the first potential buyer. I consider this system to be one of the most important assets I can bring to our association.  Of course, there are many qualities and skills that go into being a real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge,  effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.  

 

In my experience as an Alexandria real estate professional, I've found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

 

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach.  It requires me to be present and in attendance personally through each aspect of the transaction.  When I am your listing agent, you will hear from me directly, not from a "team member".  As a buyer's agent, I work as well in a very "hands-on" fashion.
